Antidote to Gloom

The contrast between yesterday and today is really dramatic:-)  Drove this morning in torrential rain to my U3A Photography Group, though the rain had eased a bit by the time I drove home again.

By 2 pm we had to put all the lights on, as it was so dark and gloomy outside. Just a hint of the orange sky that people further south can see, caused by the Saharan sand storms etc.

So to cheer myself up, I'm posting a blip of my pink Oriental Lilies, which have finally decided to wake up and start to bloom:-)  The Extra is of my lounge at 2 pm just before I put the lights on!!
