Douneside House Hotel

Our coffee stop today was the Downside House Hotel. Near the coast it was cloudy and windy, very cloudy, and it looked as though it was threatening rain, though actually the rain never materialised until the night.

Heading inland the weather was totally transformed, a light breeze, sunny and warm. After coffee and a walk in the grounds of the hotel we were able to sit and absorb the sunshine.

My original intention with this photograph was only to develop it and do no further processing. However inevitably I got carried away, so there has been some exaggeration of the image, though I have left the sky more or less natural.

Not many steps today, and given the weather forecast I suspect even fewer tomorrow!
