ASU Faculty Performers

Soprano, Carole FitzPatrick and Russell Ryan accompanying her on the piano.  Two immensely talented Arizona State University faculty professors.  I had seen Carole a few years ago in an opera and it isn't just her voice, anything with a comic element, she just soars.  She is hilarious with her timing and expressions.  I thoroughly enjoyed this concert.

On a comic note of my own, when I got there I caught the eye of one of my favorite ticket sellers and her eyes widened hugely and then she said "Seelye, help, help, help!"  They had run out of ticket stock and the new guy didn't know how to change it, and its really hard to change it in this ticketing counter.  As I'm throwing the thing around, the head of the School of Music came along and quipped "I see you are still saving the day!"  It was pretty funny actually.
