Autumn sky

It was a beautiful sunny morning and being rather concerned that I might miss the lovely autumn colours, I went into the garden in my slippers and dressing gown to take pictures. When I finally did get up the sun was still shining and there was a chance to take more pictures.

This afternoon we went to Straiton in an unsuccessful quest to find some trousers for Mary. However thechimp and Mary did manage to find one of those apple corer thingys that apparently only IKEA sell. I wandered round the “market place” area in IKEA trying to find them for ages. We had to go to the nearby garden centre Pentland Plants for a cup of tea to recover
