Artists view

After saying our goodbyes to our friends we headed to a local art studio that has an open studio exhibition on.  One of our close friends somehow manages to find the time to pursue her art while teaching and looking after her young family.  It was great to see her latest work and her studio.  

After that the journey back south.  Interesting how much further advanced autumn is only a few hundred miles north.
