Autumn Flowering Irises

I didn't know these irises were autumn flowering when I bought them last year. They didn't flower in the spring so I assumed they were going a to have a nonflowering spring and flower ina2018. I thought the faint purple tips would become more intense but in spite of that they are certainly a welcome late addition to our front garden.

A busy day trying to sort out our grape juice...if anyone in Blipland has made grape juice any advice would be welcome. Jack says it is OK but I think maybe it needs to be left for a few weeks.
