Copper carpet

I went out this afternoon looking for some autumn colours for the latest community challenge, but I was disappointed. There wasn't much variety up in the woods.

Earlier, this morning, I found a recipe in an old Mary Berry book for a curried apple soup, so I used up half of yesterday's apples making that. It's got quite a kick!

Now, who's for the Strictly chop tonight, do you think? I predict Brian, Simon or Charlotte, but there's no way of knowing how the public vote will go...
