A quiet place

Knowing that rain was going to spread in during the course of the morning, I stayed close to the hotel today. I went for a walk in the area around the hotel in the morning, and by the time I returned, the rain had started, albeit fairly gently. I just snapped this shot in the hotel grounds before going back inside. The rest of the day I worked out in the fitness room, did some knitting and read my book. In the evening we went out to eat in the nearby small town of Granby at a Swiss restaurant. It's one of Roger's favorite places to eat when he's working up there - he's always thought of it as a French restaurant, but when we were checking the website for the phone number, I noticed it claims to be Swiss. Either way, it's excellent food. While we were waiting for our food, I happened to look out the window, and it was throwing it down with rain. It continued to do so through much of our meal, but fortunately by the time we left it had returned to light rain.
