Ele and Kenny came for lunch and afterwards David and Kenny managed to get a round of golf.  Ele and I stayed at home with Lola and had a lovely time playing tug of war and chase the toy until she fell asleep at my feet, exhausted.  Lola that is, not Ele ;-))

David arrived back full of the joys as he'd had a great round of golf.  I'm pleased as since Lola arrived he's not really had the chance to get out and play.

An evening of watching Strictly whilst we ate our first proper "winter" dinner - beef stew with buttery mash and green beans.  We all enjoyed it but were so full afterwards none of us had space for the rhubarb crumble.  

Feeling very content after dinner the four of us and Lola settled down to watch Midsomer Murders.  By the end only Kenny and I had managed to stay awake.  Quite a rocking Saturday night :-))

To say Lola wasn't keen on having her last garden trip of the day is a bit of an understatement!  David finally persuaded her to stand up and follow him by waving a liver and cranberry treat under her nose.
