excerpts from a life

sweet and sour

it was a lively day!
the day begun quite sourly; I had a math/geometry test in the morning which did not go well at all, but then I went to Taksim and much was better.

while I waited Doruk happened to be around -- pure luck! And he texted me he was in Taksim and I screamed via text "me too" and so he came and had some delicious sugar and chocolate filled coffee while I am almost on my one year streak with my no-processed-sugars diet. So I just watched. (I'm still having dreams when I eat chocolate and panic.)

then Kaan came by, after his TOEFL, and we studied history a bit and then listened to music and did some math. Or I struggled with it and he guided me through. And very randomly Cagla appeared all of a sudden -- she was about to go to a concert, and stumbled upon us while she tried to find somewhere to sit at with her coffee. So we sat together. Then Sarp came, who'd accompany Cagla to the concert. Then we all left together at about 9 pm. I took this photo as we left, it's a stranger's — how beautiful to have a habit of holding a notebook like this!

We sat and talked for a long while at the entrance to the metro with Kaan, for about an hour about our lives and the future, and we talked about if time kills relationships or more accurately, what a relationship needs to defy all the time that passes. Then we went home.

Another one of those warm days when I am just purely blessed to have him holding my hand.
