An apple .................

 ................... Madam????

My entry for the Silly Saturday (SilS54) Challenge happily hosted by admirer - thank you!

If I have picked up one apple from the grass, I have picked up 500!

The garden is a nightmare ....... we have set ourselves a monumental task to try and overhaul it - but it has to be done - we suspect by the end of next autumn we might have it finished.  Yep, NEXT autumn (2018)!

We have divided it up into "task areas" ...... the front, the ''front triangle'',  the side, the "side triangle", the back triangle, the patio, the pond, the rockery, the side border and the bottom border.

On top of that - as if we didn't have enough - there are trees that have come from nowhere - we didn't plant them but they have appeared as if by magic!!!

Himself (despite feeling cr*p and being unable to dig with a large fork since his stroke last May which has caused balance issues) has, so far, finished the side and the side triangle with a small handfork (what a trooper) - planting we are calling titivating (lol) - and that will happen in the Spring.
The front is just about done but the front triangle needs pruning out and weeding.

I set about the rockery and part of the pond - this is the pond which measures about 15' x 7' (4.5 x 2.5 mtrs) and of which we can see about two square feet of water (!!!) - where did all that damn ivy come from???   Oh, I remember, I planted one little ivy thinking it would look nice trailing over the handbuilt waterfall about 15 years ago.
Where IS that gently descending 3 metre waterfall????  Haven't seen that for about three years!!   
I did find the top pool that feeds it yesterday ..... surprisingly under some ivy!!!!   :o)))  
That top pool is now clear .................

Enough of our gardening woes ...... am sure you get the picture.

Mr Frog was taken as the light faded, I'd had enough of cutting down a mega sized shrub and snipping it up into the garden wheelie bin - which I had been doing for about four hours!  
There is still some left - guess what I'm doing today!!!!

Aaaaaargh.
