The colours of an autumn Quince

Today has been grey, misty and quite wet. Theres been an enormous amount of rain and the local river is in full flood - I've never seen it so full and we've been coming here for more than 15 years. The extra is the view from our window. Managed a nice walk however even if we came back with mud up to the knees and me looking like I'd been pulled backwards through a hedge! had a pub lunch then spent the rest of the day relaxing with books.
And there's a tiny bit of pink on the leaves.
