A day in in the line of duty. It's to be recommended. A day free of relocation, KPIs and filling in of spreadsheets. I did however raise my awareness of the new absence policy at the behest of the ones quite near the top of the food chain. (I've now worked out how to skive more effectively and how to sneak under the radar)
