Sweet Chestnuts

After meeting Ann out of the Blue Cross Shop we went over to the Swan Theatre Bar, our Saturday coffee haunt, and met Emma who was on a visit.

We had a good chat and drink then back for some tennis. Later we went out to Wildwood Kitchen for a meal then Ann and I drove to Leamington Spa where we had tickets for the finale of the comedy week at the Royal Spa Centre. There were four comedy acts including Alan Davies of Johnathon Creek and QI fame.

As I was walking into town I went through Rother Street Gardens, The Firs, where the harvest of sweet chestnuts had fallen off the trees.
