Trees

Six of us managed to link up today at the National Arboretum, Westonbirt. The day started damp, and the sun barely managed to break through the clouds all day, but it did not diminish the intense colours of some of the maples and acers.

We wandered round chatting and taking photos until almost closing time. We lost one of our party for a time, but she eventually caught up with us in time for lunch.

I've got plenty of photos to work through, but this one seemed to catch the essence of the season
