Friends like "Pheonix"

Friends are the family that you chose.
I can say this about The Pheonix Rises, we met on the first day we started college a few years ago - well.....quite a few years ago and she is my adopted sister!
Today we managed with the third member of our tribe Anne, to get a day off work each, met and spent the day talking, laughing and relaxing whilst enjoying a day of pampering together at a spa in the Borders. Thank you Groupon!
We never get the chance to really get together as group, max once a year, so today a pact was made - to meet and spend quality time together at least twice a year from now on.
I have been shamed into coming back to Blip after a substantial period of absence... chronic Blipitis hit and now that I am aiming to get a better work life balance, hopefully the pics will return.
At Camera Club tonight, the speaker Cameron's edited life highlighted to benefits of Blipfoto and what a great friendly supportive community it is, so as I had to divulge my journal name, I thought I'd better update my stagnant journal...be warned, this is going to be death by back blip!
