Last One

The third in the series of shots straight up the bridges at South Queensferry.
I can't make up which shot I prefer - this one or the one with the two trains.

On the way down from the station I took some shots of the mile marker (not sure what relevance of the shells etc. is).

I also went back to the road bridge to try again for a centralised shot but there are now coaches using it so there is no way I would be allowed to go and get the shot.
So I just took a shot of the sails on the new crossing.
On the way up the road I took a couple of shots using the old 500mm mirror lens. The position isn't right to get the 3 layers of the decks but  it wasn't too bad for the cables.

On the way home I got a call from my brother asking when he could visit. Since it is years since we have seen him I told him any time.
He was here within 30 minutes.
We had a great chat and catch up before going over to see Bags and the family. When they had to think about getting The Cygnet to a birthday party, SWMBO took A for lunch at the golf club ......... and a damned fine lunch it was too.
Unfortunately after that he had to head off .....lots of people still to see before he heads back to the states tomorrow.
