Baby Needs A Bib

Yesterday's house finch must have been slightly more mature than this Gila woodpecker.  While she was eating with her mouth open, this little guy is slurping his water.  If I have done either one at the table,  I would have been immediately reprimanded.  I guess there's no Miss Manners in bird world.

Still struggling a bit with my breathing.  I have only been outside long enough this week to fill the dishes and feeders.  Then it's out of the pollen, the level of which is still 12/12.  We could use less wind and a bit of rain.  It's been super dry.  The humidity is currently 9%.
