One for the Brompton geeks...

...today I got to ride a prototype electric Brompton, and... it was fantastic!

The electric motor and battery have been so well integrated, with some lovely design choices made so as not to compromise the most import thing about a Brompton, the fold. See extra pictures.

I also got to see a Barbour Brompton, which was not that nice and, in my opinion, a branding step too far.

I popped into the bike shop as some naughty people had tried to thieve my Billy Brompton as it was left parked up on Wednesday and in the process of trying to pry the D lock off had bent the chainring. They were very stupid thieves because even seeing the lock I use they tried:
