Waratah #2

It's usually the appearance of the Gang Gangs that would entice me to blip the same subject two days in a row but today when I woke up it had been raining gently overnight and the Waratahs outside the living area looked like they were covered with jewels. This glorious bloom is giving yesterdays a run for its money. It is a wonderful shape and I think it's also going to be magnificent when it is fully formed.

I have to say, it's really worth viewing the large version of the bloom, particularly with the black surround. - How lucky are we to live in such an amazing place surrounded by such incredible natural beauty. Lately, I pinch myself every day!!
