Kendal

A trip to Kendal for a haircut and a bit of shopping. Hadn’t been for several weeks and it was good to look round even though weather was a bit grim. Coffee at Low Sizergh Barn on way home (extras) and a chance to buy several local cheeses from their excellent cheese counter.

Long conversation with No 2 son who updated me on his day. He had been invited to BA as part of his cadet’s programme and was able to have a flight in the 747 full motion simulator. He loved the take-off, circuit and landing. Hopefully not too long now before he graduates and joins them permanently.
