Evening All

My Dear Fellows and Princess Normal,

It has been another very quiet day in the flat, watching old films and hanging out with the little furry bandits.

It occurred to me that I haven't taken any shots after dark for ages now, and as you know they are my favourite. 

So here is the view from our back window, just after sundown.

I was going to talk about our deck (which you can just see in the picture) but instead I should tell you that while writing that sentence I leapt up off the couch and nearly shat myself. This is because I thought I saw a SPIDER run across my leg.

But ha ha - it turns out it was just the end of the wire that connected my phone to my laptop.

Don't do things like that to yourself Parsones you big FOOL.

Heart still pounding. If it had been a REAL spider, I'd have vaulted the cats and been out in the street by now.

Thank god I didn't emigrate to Australia. I hear they have spiders the size of small dogs over there.
