Before and after

Big weed clearance job today!

This is an entrance to a car park, as you can see from the before picture it was very overgrown (I tackled the other side earlier in the week) 

The nettles and greater burdock where taller than me in places and I managed to fill 2 x tonne bags with weeds.  It was quite a job but looks so much better now.  

The car park is currently be used by builders who are working on a site next to it, they are all very polite and say good morning.  The site foreman offered to empty the tonne bags for me and duly sent his forklift chappie to pick them up.   Now all that is great but it was only after the foreman had visited me that I realised I had huge clumps of the burdock seeds in my hair, and my goodness do they stick, 20 minutes later I had manage to remove the last one.....just before the forklift arrived.  .So all these lovely builders who were smiling and saying good morning were probably laughing their bloomin' socks off at the mad woman with the seeds in her hair!  Never mind, if I made someone smile today I guess that's a good thing!
