My new addiction

This chocolate is the best thing ever. If you like sweet things anyway. I'm a bit obsessed with it and as I can't get Cadburys here without paying extortionate amounts this is a worthy replacement. (I do have a Cadburys stash from home I've yet to break into).

Today was my first day of proper lectures. It was a very daunting prospect. My first seminar was film analysis and was 2 hours. My brain felt very full afterwards but I think I managed to follow everything alright. I also managed to chat to some other people doing the module who seemed very friendly.

My other module was American history for students taking English degrees. That means that the module is in English, which is strange as my French modules back home tend to be in English too. I guess this means students here get more practice of their language skills. It was very interesting though so I'm definitely looking forward to the rest of the year.

Exhausting spending so much time thinking in and listening to French though.
