Figs

The last few times we have visited Spain, we have been very fortunate to have a garden full of fruit trees. Fresh, ripe figs are one of my favourite simple pleasures and something that just cannot be repeated at home. Why are the figs we buy in supermarkets nothing like those straight from the tree?

So here you are. Figs from my very own (rented) tree.
