Masts at La Rochelle

Our next night at La Rochelle.

Walking on the rampart walls by the port, there were all these masts of yachts as the sun set.  Terrific.

Walking back to the restaurant we experienced a murmeration of starlings.  The numbers and noise was remarkable and even after they had settled in the trees the noise continued for at leas half an hour
