Crazy Horse(s)
This afternoon I went to my artist friends' house to pick up my ceramic articles which had been fired on Monday. They turned out pretty well, the funny faces I had made, in particular. Some of the figures were pretty cool, too. I was overall happy with them seeing as it was only my second attempt at clay modelling.
Driving home in brilliant sunshine these rather handsome and frisky horses caught my eye. I stopped and watched them for a while as they careered around the enclosure or rolled on the grass to scratch their backs. There is something pretty hilarious about seeing these big animals on their backs waving their legs in the air. The big black one in the extras kept running over every time I got close to the fence and then putting the brakes on suddenly to stop within cms of me. She was enormous and I am sure she was deliberately trying to scare me. I bet she was laughing as she turned away despite her showing me the whites of her eyes.
