Down to the coast and Portes Vendres

Down to the coast today and lunch at Portes Vendres.  Seagulls down at the quay as the fishermen gutted their catch.

Lovely lunch at a quayside restaurant - the Tramontane - and for the first time in my life I took a photo of my lunch - Bonite.  It was great!

Final stop off at Les Paulilles and watched this man prepare his catalane, the region's traditional fishing boat, to sail round to Banyuls-sur-mer for the celebration of the wine harvest.
