Walking along the South Bank

Excellent journey to London - a Quiet Coach that was really, really quiet. We're staying at the Premier Inn in Hampstead - posh area, but the hotel is just the same as anywhere. Bus to Waterloo Bridge - that was a sightseeing tour that cost nothing.

Now we're at 'The Swan' waiting for our daughter and son-in-law, so we can eat, and then we're going to the National Theatre to see 'Jane Eyre' - our daughters' birthday present to me. Just the start of what we have planned as an eventful weekend.
