Baby Wattle Bird calls for mum (or dad)

This is the same baby bird that I posted on blip on 2nd October. He (or she) is now pretty much the same size as the parents and quite mobile around the trees in the garden and starting to feed himself. However, the calling out to parents for food continues (hence the open beak), though the the time gaps between parent-supplied mouthfuls are increasing as time goes by.

Baby bird had just been drinking from this bowl and I was snapping away in case he plunged right in for a bath, but he didn't and flew back to the safety of the tree moments after this.
