Our backyard

I got in so late last night that I didn't really look around much, just went straight to bed. But today we started to unpack things and the apartment is quite nice, though for some reason the landlord painted the floors with wall paint so they're very slippery and easy to scratch. This is the view from the back balcony. It's about a 40 minute walk into town from here, but the area is very quiet and pretty. There's a small creek down the street and I've petted several neighbourhood cats.
