Burg Hohenzollern

We drove to the castle car park and then walked up to the castle itself. It is the third castle to be built on the site and is the ancestral seat of the imperial House of Hohenzollern. There was a special event on so there were only self-guided tours of the castle interior, but that suited us fine. The extra is the view from the entrance to the castle, (after a short shower). We drove to the south and then walked up to the Zellerhorn Gipfel, from where the blip was taken.
