Sicily

Alarm call at 5 am today ahead of an Easyjet flight to Sicily, for the launch drive of Skoda’s new Karoq, a medium size 4x4. After a day spent testing different versions of the car, we arrived at our hotel on the coast. The view from my hotel room window includes the world’s largest superyacht, a £360 million three-masted mammoth owned by a Russian oligarch, which is at anchor just offshore. This view is across the swimming pool on the way to dinner, but no time for a dip sadly. Back home tomorrow.
