Sunbathing

We went for a late afternoon walk along the river and I had to stand on a bench to get this shot of the local gulls bathed in sunshine. I was looking for some rarer bird species but none materialised. My mother in law is staying in hospital for 72 hours while her drugs regime is stabilised, most sensible and a relief for my father in law who can catch up with himself.a beautiful day today and I have been out in the garden digging and replanting the roses we took out last week.
