Diary of an Edinburgher

Finders Keepers!

I spied my pal Mary at the aquafit class this morning - she's been meaning to re-start for months. She came in to the gym after her session, and had a wee go (about two minutes) on the bike, then the rowing machine. She intends to get back into using the gym and pool - it costs enough, so it's silly not to use it.

I left her there, and she popped in for a cuppa after (about three minutes) rowing, but it's a start.

JR took our old, mostly squashed flat sofa cushions and got some new, firmer ones cut. And what a difference they make! It's like a new sofa. I wish we'd done it sooner. I'll be able to get up much more easily now.

A new dog borrower came this afternoon, Annet. She's a second year biology student from Hungary. I went with her and Archie to the Links, where we found this giant frisbee. I know it probably was a rounders base when the schoolkids played. Archie LOVED it. He was hilarious trying to run with it, getting tangled up. Annet took loads of videos. I, for the first time ever, forgot to take my (phone) camera. Duh! But Annet has just sent me some.

I nipped off home and left them playing tug of war, and they returned about an hour later, both tired and happy. Annet seems to have lots of time during the week. All good.
