Migraine Moon
Hard watching your loved one struggle with a migraine, as last night. Despite modern medical theorising, they are not understood much.
At the zenith, sickness comes in fast waves, pain is almost unbearable, thoughts processes get screwed up, sleep when it comes eventually is fitful and riddled with dreams.
Contrary to "expert" wisdom, medications don't help at all really. All to do is support and comfort - though I can now give injections to assuage the sickness...
I went downstairs to make some tea at 3.30 a.m. and looked on the brightly lit night-garden. I went out into the silence and experimented.
