Cygnets

...very bold as they tried to face down very many tonnes of boat

We saw adult swans further back down the canal, so I guess they are family?
The weather was good to us for our day out to the west, I even got a go at steering....am getting the hang of it, along with some pretty close supervision.

People on the tow paths seem quite surprised to see folks on boats, especially when the boat folks are having their lunch and a glass of wine.
