Sunshine on Leith

In Leith Walk today for lunch after a board meeting. I rather like what they have done with this old police box and the old Leith motto of Persevere.
Sad to see the road dug up in such a major way... YET AGAIN...it only just seems to have been put together after the aborted tram debacle. I think this time it is to do with cycle ways.
It now sounds like the extended tram route may be going ahead after all too... Let's hope this time it is with more honest and straight dealing and in a reasonable time scale.
I still don't think we need it. Edinburgh bus service is rated one of the best in the UK.
