Looking For A Me
looking for a me
in the bubbles of lost time
a stranger is found
I've been musing a lot lately about identity and memory, often while doing the washing-up, so the day after going to see the new Bladerunner film with Forrest, and with rain falling pretty much all day, it seemed appropriate to have a play today.
Much like the first film, you need to regard this as a totally immersive experience and not think too hard - although, more so than the original, this sequel left a lot to think about afterwards. Visually and sonically mind-blowing, I found its dystopian landscapes and soundscapes somehow incredibly beautiful. It's a feast for the senses. It's a film that has to be seen at the cinema.
