Minchinhampton Longstone
We wended our way West towards Cheltenham, taking in a few archaeological sites. This classic standing stone has all sorts of legends attached to it. Pass you child through the hole and it will be cured - but must be pretty small.....
On arrival another dog nightmare when Ruadh made a dash to see Tricia on the wrong side of the road and managed to hit a car going along the road. A precautionary visit to the vet revealed no real damage only a nose-bleed. I think she feels she is a cat with the proverbial nine lives and is intent in using them up.....
Continuing to make the most of the English pub, a visit to catch up with an old Wellington colleague was followed by picking up a curry. Life as it can't be in the Ardeche.
