Autumn avenue

Dreich morning, sunny afternoon, but by the time I got out for a walk it was dreich again. *sigh*

My washing machine started making a dreadful noise today while on the spin cycle. I'm hoping it was just because the load was small, and not due to old age. (The machine is about 16 years old, but since I'm usually away from home for half the year, I reckon it's only 8 years old!)
