You never know what you might see .. .. ..
when you are in search of a Blip picture. Today we saw this very large (7-8ins) Signal Crayfish in a stream. Another couple of people were looking over the footbridge crossing the stream in the park and pointed out this specimen which was apparently the largest of the three they had seen there this afternoon. There is some fascinating information about this non-native creature here if you are interested.
All those reflections, autumn colours, fruit and flower pictures have been discarded to be replaced by this predator!
