Flying

Well ... I am still out there, dodging and weaving - trying to get a bird in the act of "taking off". By some miracle I have ALMOST done it with this effort. I did miss focus a fraction (well ... a bit MORE than a fraction, actually) but you do have to be so &%@# quick. Anyway this fella wasn't flying a moment ago but I got him too late to ACTUALLY be in the act of taking off - I guess.  I am making some progress but (oh heck) I'll need to be out again tomorrow.

To all of those long term birders out there ... this beginner is seriously very impressed with what you do. Didn't realise it was so hard. .
