Corner of the Kawarau River

The Tuner and I joined The Boss from Tussocktales on a trip over the hill (The Crown Range) to check out a possible new walk for the Monday Walkers. We parked at Morven Ferry Road and walked part of the Queenstown Trail to the Lake Hayes Estate, had a coffee there and returned. The main pic is where we had lunch. The round trip was about 16 kms but we think it will work as a one way walk. The scenery is stunning as can be seen from a couple of extras.
