Ready steady bake

After a slow start to the morning the boy got his homework out of the way then we headed out to his swimming lesson. He is doing really well at perfecting his technique.

The afternoon he spent playing with his friends while I did some baking, made a chicken, bacon and leek pie for dinner , apple pie for Sunday and to use up all my pastry jam tarts.

We had. A quiet evening watching strictly and X factor.

Really behind with blips and catching up on other people’s journals, life at work is pretty busy so will return to balance soon!
