Colour

Two intrepid hawkers (extra) appeared alongside our boat as we steamed upstream. God knows how they managed to catch onto us as we were going at a fair pace. Apparently they float downstream trying to sell their wares to passengers on boats, then tag alongside to go home to Esna, where were are now for the night after a slip through the lock. It was a very tight squeeze, but clearly a well oiled process.

This is colour in the early morning looking toward the West Bank at Luxor. Our visits to the Valley of the Kings, Temple of Hatshepsut and Collosi of Memnon were mind boggling.
