Monday: And We're Done

After 4,500km and 13 different stops, we're home. We have had such a wonderful time - the places we have seen, experiences we have had and people we have encountered have just been incredible. We agreed that, in some way, it was probably time to come home as we couldn't deal with any more sensory overload.

We woke pretty early so decided to get on the road. We stopped for breakfast in North Bend, WA, just pulling into a diner in a small town. Coincidentally, it turned out to be the diner that featured in 'Twin Peaks', (old series and current series). I haven't seen it, but K. is a fan.

And now home and back to Fred who was delighted to see us. In as much as you can tell whether a cat is delighted..........

Time and anticipation is a funny thing. A trip that we spent time planning, arranging, then experiencing, has now been relegated to the memory banks. But what lovely memories.......
