Stafford Again

I have been guest speaking at McMinnville High the last week on the poetry of William Stafford. While it had moments of insight and revelation, it was mostly an exercise of interruption and frustration. I should not be surprised, though, because that is the normal agenda in schools. Part of the reason for an interruption is pretty bizarre; maybe that's a subject for tomorrow's blip.
