Still Life MM

This is my first attempt at a planned Still Life shot. I am not sure if I like it or not. This took a lot longer than getting a photo in nature!  The books are from an extensive library left by Victor McLaglen (the actor)  when my husband's parents bought his house about 1950......I love the look of very old books...they don't have a copyright date but it says it is dedicated 1835.....written by Lord Lytton and published in London.

It was a beautiful day in Oregon......the weatherman says it will be our last one for awhile.....I hope he is wrong.
