Wedding Hair

Our daughter was bridesmaid at a friend's wedding (one of the reasons we made the trip to the United States at this time), so she was pampered and primped with hair and makeup prior to the ceremony. I fully intended to take some shots during the ceremony in Newport Beach, but there were so many cell phone cameras in use I felt like one more camera would be overkill. I did want to record my daughter's pretty hair, so finally got it together at the reception for one shot anyway. It is times like these, when she looks like this, that we realize she is truly an adult (something she has been telling us for some time now) and we need to let her be in charge of her future. Hard to do for parents, but oh so necessary.
